So i’ve been interested in trying my hand at OOAK (One of a kind) soft body dolls/soft body sculptures. There are some really amazing artists out there who excel at creating them and have inspired me to make my own. Needless to say, it was a daunting task since there are no tutorials and i’ve never sewn in my life.

A lot of trial and error went into this first one. I am happy to say i've found my method and I look forward to making more and perfecting my technique over time! :)

One thing I never figured out though. How do you attach the fins and the head to the doll/fabric body. I can't find any tutorials or any thing on how to do these so i'm stumped. I plan on doing an angler fish so it'd be good to have an idea on how to attach the parts. This actually inspired me to do that.

Very original design ! and I like how you sculpted the face, between realistic and cartoony style :D
And for being your very first one, it turned out so nice! good luck with your next dolls :)
